George Telquist

For more than two decades, George Telquist has dedicated his career to representing individuals and families whose lives have been forever changed by serious injury. As Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Trial Attorney at Telaré Law, George combines courtroom experience, strategic leadership, and an unwavering commitment to justice on behalf of injured people throughout Washington and Oregon.

Known for his trial advocacy, appellate work, and willingness to take on difficult cases, George has secured significant verdicts and settlements for clients while building a reputation for relentless preparation and authentic client relationships. His practice is rooted in a simple belief: people facing the largest challenge of their lives deserve attorneys who are fully invested in their outcome.

Among George’s proudest accomplishments is his work protecting the rights of injured children in Washington State. Through advocacy before the Washington Supreme Court, he successfully challenged laws that limited the ability of injured children to pursue claims. The resulting decision expanded access to justice for countless families and changed the legal landscape for future generations. While many cases are measured by dollars recovered, George believes the most meaningful victories are those that create lasting impact for others.

George has been recognized among The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyers, named a Top 10 Personal Injury Attorney by Attorney and Practice Magazine, and received the Gene Schuster Award for Outstanding Service in recognition of his commitment to community service and pro bono advocacy.

A lifelong Washington resident, George was raised in Woodinville before attending Washington State University, where he quickly developed a deep appreciation for Eastern Washington, its people, and its values. He later earned his law degree from Gonzaga University School of Law, serving on Law Review and developing the foundation for a career dedicated to advocacy, leadership, and service.

In 2019, George and Andrea Telquist launched Telaré Law with a shared vision: create a law firm that delivers exceptional client experiences, trial-ready representation, and life-changing outcomes. Together, they built a firm where every client receives direct attorney involvement, strategic guidance, and a collaborative team approach designed to maximize results.

As CEO, George continues to guide the firm’s vision, growth, and culture while remaining actively involved in representing clients. His leadership has helped establish Telaré Law as one of the Pacific Northwest’s leading injury law firms, known for compassionate service, exceptional results, and a commitment to doing what is right for clients and the community.

Outside the office, George enjoys spending time with Andrea and their family, exploring the Pacific Northwest, supporting local community initiatives, and cheering on the Cougs. His passion for people, service, and advocacy remains at the center of everything he does.
